Woody, the Lovebird Jigsaw Puzzle

Woody is comfortable sitting on a shoulder and looking cute enough for a jigsaw puzzle for you to do.
As usual, you may have to scroll over to get the full puzzle in your window. You can make this harder (or easier) by changing the shape and number of puzzle pieces.

Woody is one lucky little bird to have landed in the home of Maureen and Al Z who belong to the Parrot Club of Manitoba. This picture was taken at the club's largest annual display at Oak Hammock Marsh - just north of the City of Winnipeg.
Lovebirds make wonderful pets, especially if handfed and handled frequently when young birds. Handfeeding alone is not enough - it is the handling that makes them tame, loving and trusting.
I have been lucky enough to have had several lovebirds over the years and successfully hatched (well the parent birds actually hatched them) and raised many beautiful babies. They are a joy to handfeed and it is amazing watching them grow into beautiful, tame adult birds.
If you have a lovebird, this would be a great treat for him or her.
A couple of books on Lovebirds would be this great Lovebird Atlas or the little e-book that I wrote.
