The A.W.C. is a registered charitable non-profit orginization that focuses on public education, the mentorship and support of bird owners and adoption of surrendered birds. C.A.A.R.E. Finding New Homes For Your Birds  Due to the long lifespan of the larger parrots, and the fact that our lives change and we age, there may be a time when you have to find someone else to care for your bird.

Parrot Adopt Southern Ontario [offsite link] P.A.S.O is a Rescue, Rehabilitation, Adoption and Education Agency for Parrots, Owners, and those interested in knowing about parrots located in Durham Region in Southern Ontario. Parrot Haven [offsite link] Parrot Haven developed in July of 1999, as part of the Rescue Operation of Parrot Fancierīs Club. It is the Parrot Havenīs policy that no bird will be turned away. Once the birds become adoptable, they will be placed in suitable homes within the New York area.
Parrot Rehabilitation Society [offsite link] goal is to take in homeless, unwanted or abused parrots, "rehabilitate" them, and find them good, permanent, loving homes with our members. Pet Bird Rescue  Unfortunately many birds find themselves without a home through no fault of their own. Rescue organizations may be able to take in these birds and find new homes for them.
