Sign Up for Distance Learning Newsletter
Welcome to the Bella Online Distance Learning (DL) site. I would like to invite you to sign up for the Distance Learning Newsletter. This newsletter is e-mailed to subscribers weekly and includes links to the latest DL articles on the site, highlighted discussions in the forum, and information regarding the latest distance learning technology tools available for learners and teachers. Occasionally, I will include links to other Bella Online articles that are related to DL.
Distance learning is proving to be an effective way of teaching and learning at all levels of education from K–12 up to the PhD level, as well as for informal learning at all age levels. As the distance learning editor for Bella Online, my job is to supply you with weekly articles regarding all facets of DL. The articles cover topics of interest to students and teachers as well as those considering making a transition from classroom learning to DL. Weekly content highlights topics regarding DL tools, learning and communication styles, the use of social media in education, corporate learning, time management, health and education, and university DL programs, just to name a few.
To sign up, follow these steps:
1. Fill in your e-mail address in the space to the right of or below this or any other article and then click the arrow or the subscribe button.
2. On the next page, retype your e-mail address to ensure that you haven’t made an error typing it the first time.
3. Almost immediately, you will receive a message from Bella Online, which is a confirmation that you will begin receiving newsletters. If you don't receive this message, check your spam folder. If necessary, send an email to us if you are not receiving any messages, and we will work to resolve the issue.
While we publish numerous email newsletters, you will only receive the ones you sign up for. Your e-mail address is kept confidential, so you will never receive spam or advertising from us. Nobody at Bella Online will know your e-mail address or your name, and your personal information will never be given or sold to anyone else.
The DL site is a helpful resource for you. We would like this site to operate as an interactive sharing of DL knowledge. Feel free to contact us with your questions or ideas about what you would like the articles to cover. You can also use our discussion forum to ask questions or present your views on any topic. The forum is a great way to collaborate with others who are interested in various aspects of DL.
Thank you,
Patricia Pedraza-Nafziger
