One of the first things healers and other lightworkers tend to want to develop are their intuitive and psychic abilities, as these help to further healing and spiritual development on all levels.

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with many crystals that support psychic development. Here is just a small sampling of some of my favorite crystals for helping to strengthen and enhance intuitive and psychic abilities.

Amethyst
Known as the healer’s stone, Amethyst is one of the most versatile stones I’ve ever worked with. It helps to provide a clear connection to the realms of light, and facilitates channeling of universal wisdom.

Angelite
This lovely stone carries a very calming energy, allowing for the gentle connection to angels and spirit guides, and the realms of light. It supports channeling of angelic wisdom, and speaking and living authentically.

Apophyllite
Sometimes known as a Star Gate stone, Apophyllite aligns the physical to the realms of light, and supports astral travel, and awareness of the higher spiritual forces. It also allows for ease of understanding (and retaining) wisdom brought back from astral journeys.

Botswana Agate
A stone for spiritual adventure, Botswana Agate dispels fears and helps to clear the energy blocks around spiritual growth and development. It stimulates the desire to move forward in developing spiritual gifts.

Kyanite
As a healing stone for both the emotional and auric fields, Kyanite provides a clear connection between the physical and spiritual realms. It supports the awareness of angelic beings, and spirit guides, promoting the development of psychic abilities.

Moonstone
Known best for its lunar energies, Moonstone supports the development of psychic and intuitive abilities. As a stone of the divine feminine, it helps to clear the energetic blocks around self-empowerment by gently releasing limiting beliefs on an emotional level.

Petalite
Sometimes known as the stone of the angels, Petalite enhances the connection to the beings of light and stimulates psychic abilitites. It also acts to ground while providing access to the realms of light.

Phenacite
A third eye stone, Phenacite enhances energetic alignment of the auric field by bringing awareness of any energetic blocks present, and then clearing those blocks. It supports the conscious awareness of spirit guides, and connection to the realms of light.

Pietersite
A stone of visions, Pietersite stimulates the pineal gland, thus enhancing psychic abilities. It supports the connection to the soul, or higher self, allowing for the understanding of higher wisdom and how to channel it for greater ease in living the soul’s purpose.

Quartz
As a stone of light, Quartz crystal clears energetic blocks on all levels, supporting a clear connection to the realms of light. It also enhances the vibration of other crystals, allowing for a more immediate experience of light and clarity.

There are many ways to use crystals for psychic development and support, and my favorite way is to carry one or two in a medicine bag that I wear around my neck. I’ve also been known to carry them in my pockets, but have lost a couple that way, so I prefer to use a small bag of some sort.

They can also be held during meditation, or, if you prefer to lay down, they can be placed upon the third eye, or throat center.

However you choose to work with your crystals, they offer a tremendous source of support on the spiritual journey.
