Parsley

Parsley
Parsley has many health benefits. It is a nutritious food, providing dietary calcium, iron, riboflavin, thiamine, carotenes, ascorbic acid, and vitamin A. It also contains vitamin C, potassium and amino acid. Parsley contains more vitamin C than oranges, by weight.

Parsley is much more than a decoration on your dinner plate. It expels worms, relieves gas, prevents tumors, enhances digestion, and freshens your breath. It also aids the bladder, kidney, liver, lung, stomach and thyroid function. Used to stop bedwetting, fluid retention, gas, halitosis, high blood pressure, indigestion, kidney disease, obesity and prostate disorders.

So the next time you see that parsley on your plate, eat it instead of leaving it on your plate. Also add it to soups, salads, sandwiches, stews and whatever. It is the most densely nutritive substance known. As a hot poultice it is used to relieve insect bites, stings, sprains and bruises.

To make parsley seed tea, use 1 to 2 teaspoons of bruised seed per cup of boiling water; steep for 10 minutes. Capsules: 4 “0” capsules 4x daily.
Infusion: 4-6 ounces up to 4x daily.

If you are allergic to carrots, fennel, or celery, you may also be sensitive to parsley, which is in the same botanical family. Assuming that you're not allergic, eat as much leafy parsley as you like. It should not be used in therapeutic doses during pregnancy.
