Cleansing Your Aura
Every living being is channeling the light of universal energy through them. The energy field, or aura, is the physical manifestation of that energy that surrounds the physical, mental and emotional bodies.
This energy can actually be felt by many people, and even seen physically by clairvoyants and healers.
Physically, the aura can deflect outside negativity, to help you maintain a state of peace and joy. However, your aura can be physically affected by the conditions of your life. When you are in a peaceful state, and life seems to be going along pretty well, your aura will likely be strong and full. However, if you are experiencing difficult or challenging circumstances, and find yourself physically exhausted, your aura may become weakened and even clouded with heavy or dense energy.
Your aura deserves your attention as much as any other part of your body does. You know if you eat healthy, and exercise, you are taking care of your body, right? And getting plenty of rest, showering, brushing your teeth, etc., also add to your well-being.
Cleansing your aura should be as much a part of your daily routine as anything else you do for yourself.
Deep Breathing
One of the easiest, and most powerful ways to cleanse your aura is to simply breathe deeply, and with intention. My favorite way to do this is to inhale to the count of four, hold the breath to the count of four, and exhale to the count of eight. Do this four times in a row.
Visualization
After you have done your deep breathing exercise, continue to breathe in an easy and relaxed manner, and visualize your heart center as a golden light. Then see this light grow big enough that it completely surrounds you in an egg of light.
Get some sun
Sunlight is truly a healing light. Any chance you get, stand in the sunlight, look toward the sun, so it’s on your face, and with eyes closed, imagine the healing rays being absorbed through your entire body.
Time in nature
Spending time outdoors is always very healing, and different places carry very different energies. I’ve noticed when I go to the beach, it feels as if I’m receiving a deep cleansing, on an emotional level, and emotional pain seems to be washed away. When I got to the woods, I feel energized and light, and really feel light working through me. I’m generally more energized. In the desert, I feel the biggest energy shift, and I think this is because it’s the place I go to the least. It feels as if powerful earthy and shamanic energies are communicating with me.
Crystals
Some crystals just feel good when you hold them. When I’m feeling the need to energetically cleanse myself, Selenite is one of my very favorites to work with. I have a flat wand that fits perfectly in my palm, and I either to my breathing and visualization exercises while I’m holding it, or I’ll pass it gently through my energy field, close to my body.
Essential Oils
Frankincense is my favorite oil for strengthening the auric field. I also frequently use DoTerra’s “On Guard” formula, or Young Living’s “Thieves Blend.” Both are excellent for energetic cleansing and support the auric field.
It’s important to note that your auric field is affected by the thoughts you think, the emotions you feel, and the physical actions you make based on your thoughts and feelings. Any steps you can take to empower yourself on a mental and emotional level will always change the physical actions you take, and this will always empower you on an energetic level.
