An Atkins Sports Watching Menu

An Atkins Sports Watching Menu
You're getting together with friends to watch a game, or just hanging out at home to see one on your own. What kinds of low carb meals can you make while you watch the game?

Hamburgers, Pickles and Beer
The traditional meal of stadiums is burgers and beer. Burgers are of course zero carb! Make up some easy low carb buns for 1g each. Pickles are only 1g each so toss a pickle or two on your plate. You can get low carb beers from anywhere between 3g and 5g a bottle - you just make tradeoffs with taste as you go too low in carbs.

Shrimp Appetizer
Get yourself a ring of shrimp, a tub of cocktail sauce, and sit back and enjoy. Shrimp are the perfect finger food to snack on while you watch the game. Plus shrimp is healthy for you, and zero carb.

Devilled Eggs
Another one of my favorites, I could eat devilled eggs every day. You can make them mild or spicy, rich or light. Make a batch up and nibble on them all day.

Nuts in a Bowl
Nuts are INCREDIBLY healthy for you, and just about everybody should eat a portion of nuts every day. Choose your favorite nuts, pour a portion into a bowl, and enjoy!

Chicken Wings
The classic low carb snack, they are zero carb and you can make them pretty much any way you want. Marinate them, buffalo them, add whatever spice or sauce you enjoy. Just keep those napkins handy!
