Rachel moved to Spain in 1996 with her husband and two young sons. Now with three sons speaking better Spanish than her she divides her time between teaching English and writing - mainly about Spain.

She writes about Andalucia on her website Andalucia for Holidays which continues to grow after starting out as a website for her holiday home. Her foray into the world of blogging has produced Luxury UK Travel and Luxury Spain Travel and her latest addition Andalucia Explorer

When not at her computer Rachel can be found in the Andalucian sunshine making mosaics from recycled and upcycled spanish ceramic tiles, she makes patio tables and decorates the old Arab-style roof tiles for decoration and lighting.
