Reginald Crundal Punnett - Geneticist (1875-1967)  Reginald Crundal Punnett was an early geneticist and is perhaps best known for devising the "Punnett Square" to depict the number and variety of genetic combinations. Rosalind Elsie Franklin - DNA Research  Responsible in large part for the extensive research that led to the description and understanding of deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, Rosalind Franklin was never recognized for this accomplishment during her short life. Stephen Jay Gould - Biologist and Paleontologist  Stephen Jay Gould (September 10, 1941 - May 20, 2002) was a modern science treasure. His writings allowed countless readers to experience the wonder and joy of evolutionary biology and paleontology.
