It´s a lovely read, and will be followed soon by Cecelia´s new novel, "Rosie Dunne," coming very soon. I just have to read it first! Only part of the challenge is that so much of the important bits of Irish history is in Gaelic. To cover such a time period as the "Dublin Saga," is proof enough that the author has a mental capacity the likes of which we will not often get a read from in our lifetimes. This book gives us 800 pages of creditable historical work in understandable English.
