There are lots of patterns for beautiful doilies here. These can be used to decorate tables, shelves and other flat surfaces and also look wonderful appliqued to clothing, quilts and pillows.

Barbara Hevener Heminway Pincushion
This antique pin cushion top (finished diameter approximately 4 inches) was presented on pages 75-76 of Lessons in Embroidery published early in the 1900s by M. Heminway & Sons. Barbara Hevener has removed all the unnecessary cut and tie methods used in the original and modernized it.
