About Mothers  There isn't a more loving nor a more volatile relationship in the world than the one between mother and daughter. Which way it goes depends on us and our willingness to accept. Not every woman is a mother but we are all daughters. Examine your own relationship, past or present, with your mom. Are/were you the best daughter you could be? What we must understand is that when we are in our disease, we are not the only person being judged. Our children may suffer more than we know and it isn't about them. We have worked hard to rid ourselves of the need to be perfect. But do we truly mean it the way it was intended or do we use it as an excuse for old bevaviors?
