Block Tatting Pattern Sample
Recently, this pattern was brought to my attention with a request to explain in what direction the tatting progresses. It is by Ila Frost.

Ila Frost was a contemporary of the famous Myrtle Hamilton. Several of designs were featured in vintage needlework publications. Her trademark in my eyes was block tatting.
