America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration star
As I stood under the huge flag that waved proudly in the breeze above the “America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration” in Plymouth Massachusetts, I had tears welling up in my eyes several times. The show being put on at the bandstand was moving, inspiring and certainly entertaining.

Guide to the Berkshires region of Massachusetts.

Bike Path in Falmouth Massachusetts star
The Shining Sea bike path in Falmouth Massachusetts is ten miles of scenic bliss that winds through woodlands, farmlands, salt marshes and along direct oceanfront beaches until you arrive at Woods Hole. One ride on this bike path and you'll understand why Cape Cod is a favorite destination of many.

Boating & Pets New England Style star
Here in New England, we take our boating, and our pets very seriously. Many of us see no reason not to combine the two. People often wonder about how difficult that might be, and for sure, it isn’t for everyone. I have no idea what other parts of the country are like, but here we take em with us.

Cape Ann Lighthouse Cruise star
See all six lighthouses around Cape Ann with this 2 1/2 hour cruise!

Cranberry Land star
Cranberry bogs are generally huge tracts of marshy, acidic lands that have been cultivated and groomed by their owners. They always have decently groomed dirt roads all around and throughout the bogs and we used them for dog & goat walking, horseback riding and ice-skating.

Greater Boston Tourism Council star[offsite link]
Hotel reservations services, attractions, restaurants, events, and more.

Hidden Hills of Western Massachusetts star[offsite link]
The Hidden Hills are a geographical area consisting of 15 contiguous towns. The "Hidden" aspect of the Hidden Hills gets its reputation from the fact that there are NO interstate highway exits anywhere in the region. You can really only get to the Hidden Hills by taking back roads.

Idgy’s Gluten Free Restaurant Yarmouth star
I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about people with Celiac disease lately and have a few friends that are dealing with it, so when I heard about Idgy’s Gluten Free Restaurant opening up in Yarmouth of Cape Cod Ma, I decided to go check it out.

Logan Airport Tips star
I recently traveled in and out of Logan Airport. Here are some tips for you.

Magical Menemsha in Chilmark star
Of the many magical and enlightening experiences that I have had at Menemsha, a fishing village that sits on Chilmark Harbor of Martha's Vineyard island, one of them stands out in my memory. I had arrived at the island by boat to be wed on the beach of Menemsha at sunset. The harbor here is renown

Mill Creek - Sandwich Boardwalk star
The Sandwich Boardwalk is 1000 feet of personalized planks laid down across Mill Creek and the Old Harbor Marsh in Sandwich Massachusetts. The marsh is full of fish, fowl and various invertebrates that live in the shallow, reed encased saltwater creeks and children always enjoy visiting here.

Moody Street Waltham Massachusetts star
Wonderfully diverse in culture, fine dining and the arts, Moody Street in Waltham Massachusetts is an oasis of eclectic entertainment. At night you can hear the music and people partying and having fun, sometimes even from the rooftops.

Sturbridge Village star
Two large draft horses pulled a wagon full of jubilant visitors along the oval dirt path at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts. I was delighted to see all of the simple lanterns that lined the pathway, each with a single twinkling candle inside. There was something magical about its simplicity.
