I Have a Dream Speech  Though slavery ended with the Emancipation Proclamation, mankind realized that slavery comes in all forms, shapes, and sizes. It was through this speech by Martin Luther King, Jr., that a new kind of slavery was recognized and slowly dismantled through rhetoric, blood, and determination. Susan B. Anthony's Speech  Susan B. Anthony was known for her relentless campaign to get women equal rights. When it came to the 1872 presidential election, she was arrested and charged $100 for her behavior. After refusing to pay the fine, she have this speech. The Fourteen Points Speech  It was almost at the end of World War I, The Great War, that President Wilson came before Congress. He had done his best to keep America out of the war, but it was out of his hands. With this speech he listed 14 points that he hoped would be used to create a better and more peaceful world. The Iron Curtain Speech  Though World War II had ended, a new war had begun with the establishment of the "Iron Curtain". The following is a speech made by Winston Churchill made in 1946 where the phrase "Iron Curtain" was first used. The Magna Carta Document  Many documents have been written that have changed the course of history. The Magna Carta was one that began weakening the influence of the monarch and became a precedent for future governments.
