Unseen

Katherine Tsoukalas

Wrap me in the cleansing fabric of your wool,
Sheared and processed from fleece,
Exposed skin blushing pink,
Kissed by the elements.

Naked fissures deepen,
Wind gusts etch small fissures on skin,
Imperfections painted on the surface,
While the fleece slowly grows back.
