Highway

Tara Lynne Brown

Walking for miles
I left the El Dorado
With its flat tire
Feeling tired
Of the flat desert
The dust is under my eyelids
Everywhere
I can feel it in my veins
Someone will need to blow
The dust off my heart
Once I´m done walking
Because I´m not going back again.
