Anime Shows

Anime Shows
Anime Shows is an ebook that compiles the anime overviews I have written for the BellaOnline Anime site. Instead of having to search through various subsections of the Anime site to find a particular anime overview, you can have them all conveniently located in one place.

The first chapter of the ebook, "Current Anime," includes the anime overviews from the "Current Anime," "Cowboy Bebop," "Inuyasha," "Pokemon," and "Yu-Gi-Oh!" subsections of the Anime site. My definition of "current anime" is that a property has to be less than twenty years old. However, it should be noted that some of the anime properties covered in this chapter are currently not airing on television anywhere. The anime properties covered in this chapter are: Aquarion, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Beyblade, Black Blood Brothers, Bleach, Blue Dragon, Boys Be..., Chobits, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Digimon, Emma: A Victorian Romance, Fruits Basket, Green Green, Hamtaro, Inuyasha, Lost Universe, Naruto, Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu, Noein: To Your Other Self, Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon Chronicles, Ragnarok, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Super Gals!, Trigun, Tweeny Witches, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

The second chapter of the ebook includes the anime overviews from the "Classic Anime" and "Robotech and Related" subsections of the Anime site. My definition of "classic anime" is that a show has to be at least twenty years old. However, some of the properties included this section aren't that old; those particular properties are included in this section because they were either landmark anime properties for their time, or have notoriety attached to them. The anime properties covered in this chapter include: Astro Boy, Candy Candy, Doraemon, Dragon Ball Z, Gatchaman, Megazone 23, Ranma 1/2, Robotech, Sailor Moon, Space Battleship Yamato and Star Blazers, Speed Racer, and Voltron.

The overviews contain information about each of the anime properties included in the ebook. More often than not, I also try to include commentary on who I believe the target audience for these properties are, in addition to the basic background information about the show. It is my hope that when readers read this ebook, they can learn about a new anime property that they may not have known anything about before. It is also my hope that parents can utilize this ebook as a resource to help determine what anime properties may or may not be suitable for their children.

Anime Shows is 79 pages in length, and is being sold for $1.99 US. Payment is accepted via PayPal.
