2010 CSMP Worksheet
One of the easiest ways to write the primary program for Sacrament Meeting, is to have the kids do most of the work themselves. The idea with this worksheet is that the primary presidency will take a few moments with each child and ask them the questions that are in the worksheet. The answer that each child gives to you becomes their part for the program. This helps them to feel special and they already are familiar with their special part.
After you get the answers for the children, you will want to make the part form complete sentences. However, try to leave the part so that it is mostly in their own words.
You will find that the moments you spend with the children one on one are precious and ones you will remember and cherish for always. Doing the program this way increases the spirituality of the program and the children look forward to it even more. It will shine through when you actually do the program.
Feel free to make this worksheet work for your own primary. There are some questions that can be used over and over. The answers will all be individual, so don't worry about repeat answers. I added in some extra songs to complete the theme for the year from the outline. This is actually a big help if you have a smaller primary and need to fill more time. I hope this helps you!
I Know My Savior Lives
The primary children sit quietly and hum “I Know That My Savior Loves Me” as the leaders stand at the podium together saying each of their parts.
Leader #1: This year in Primary we have been learning that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has a central role in our Heavenly Father’s plan. He lives and loves us and we can have faith in Him to help us return to our Heavenly Father someday. We testify that Jesus Christ is the promised Savior and when we trust in Him and follow Him with all our hearts, we will be blessed.
Leader #2: Each class has been given some questions. Our answers to those questions will be as unique as we are. Some might share a personal experience while others of us a direct response in our own words. We invite you to ponder these questions and the messages as we each share “I Know My Savior Lives” in what we say and sing.
