Adding Text To An Image - Paint Shop Pro 8

In this tutorial you will learn how to add text to a graphic image using the Text Tool in Paint Shop Pro 8. The image can be an image you are creating for print or for the web.

Step 1. Open your image into the program. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, you will need to download the image from the BellaOnline website. Now open the calendar or your image into Paint Shop Pro.

Step 2. Setup the Text Tool. Click on the Text Tool icon and set the following values in the Tool Options Palette (see Figure 1).

Create as: Floating
Font: Comic Sans MS (or your choice)
Size: 12
Stroke width: 0.0
Anti-alais: Checked
Alignment: Left
Font Style: Bold
