Gift of Faith
The bible is filled with many promises of God. These promises are made to his people. In order to be blessed by these promises, faith must be present in the believer’s life. Faith is a Gift from God that must be given. There is a way to grow your faith.
The enemy can take your blessing. Genesis 27:35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtlety, and hath taken away thy blessing. Jesus made many promises throughout the bible. There is an adversary that is attempting to accomplish the opposite of what God is doing in your life. Exodus 15:9 says The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
The enemy comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. The enemy is already a defeated foe. As you begin to operate in your gift of Faith, you will be able to shift your focus away from the situation. A gift is something that is given freely by God. Situations will always come. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The battle is always spiritual.
According to Hebrews 4:2, It is possible to hear the Word of God, but lack faith in that Word. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. In order for faith to increase, the Word of God must be heard. According to Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is a gift given by God. According to Hebrews 4:8-9 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same spirit.
If you would like for your faith to grow, then just ask. The bible tells us that Jesus has promised to answer prayers. Ask and it will be given to you. It is just as simple as that. Read the word daily and hear the word. Your faith will grow faster than you can imagine.
Be Blessed.
