Are Herbs Nutritional Fuel?

Are Herbs Nutritional Fuel?
It may surprise you, but most herbs (except for garlic) are not intended to be part of your nutritional fuel. Although herbs can be beneficial and healing (I generally prefer them over medications), herbs are not nutrition. They’re medicinal. If you haven’t consistently given your body the optimum in food nutrient fuel, then you will probably get sick. Herbs could help you recover – temporarily.

But, if you’re not getting your natural fuel – the optimum nutrients from the human food chain – then you will probably get sick again soon. And the same thing is true of homeopathics, tinctures, aromatherapy, etc. These are all natural medicinal alternatives for when you have not given your body the optimum in human fuel – good nutrition from the human food chain.
