Valentine's Day is the time to select the perfect gift for your favorite rose enthusiast. There is always the traditional gardener's gift of a pair of great pruners or goat skin gloves. A rose perfume that I love, and frequently wear, is “Stella by Stella McCartney.” This perfume is all about the rose. It smells natural and is true to the actual essence of the rose's fragrance. It reminds me of a beautiful, heady, antique rose you'd find flourishing in a quiet forgotten garden. The perfume has lots of rose scent with a touch of amber. For someone who enjoys rose gardening books “The Ultimate Rose Book: New Expanded Edition” is a wonderful gift. This book has close to 500 pages almost everyone of which contain beautiful glossy color photos. Roughly 1,800 roses are covered in this book, with a color photo of almost every one of them. This book while pretty to look at is also informative, insightful and includes many rose gardening tips. The large size and stunning color photos also make this book the perfect coffee table book for any rose gardener.
