Quilt Calendars
Even though we don’t like to, us quilters have to keep an eye on the time, the date, the week and a great idea is to give a beautiful quilt calendar as a gift. We love to hang these in our sewing areas, and delight in the lovely art work that comes with each new month.
Internet Quilting club membership
What about a subscription to an internet quilting club. I often go to these sites, and find I’m unable to access areas of their great site, without subscribing and paying a bit of money.

There are many Quilting websites that have a special membership section that affords members special patterns and information for a yearly subscription. I must admit, that often I’ll find an interesting website, only to be turned away because of lack of subscription.
Perhaps your quilter has a special site she would dearly like to belong to that you could purchase for her.
Tickets to next year’s craft shows
Every big city around the world hosts an annual craft show which usually has a quilt show together with many vendors from all around the country. At these shows, quilters can purchase all manner of things they might not be able to purchase in their home town at their own local patchwork shop. A free ticket to one of these shows would be a great gift for your quilting loved one.
Cruise
One of the latest trends we see are Quilting Cruises. America has a number of cruise companies that specialise in quilters cruises. Perhaps you could organise a gift of a cruise. I’m sure you would be in the good books for this one!!
Retreat
Quilters love retreats, and they happen at all levels. Retreats that cost a fortune and cover all accommodation, meals and projects right down to the little retreat at the local camping ground, self catered and self funded. Perhaps you might arrange for your quilting loved one to attend a retreat sometime through the year. By offering to manage the children for the weekend, this would make a truly wonderful gift for the quilting mom.
Membership to local quilt guild.
Quilting Guilds offer many services to quilters from a frequent magazine outlining exhibitions to discounts at participating quilt shops and membership prices for workshops. Your quilter would love to have a yearly subscription to her local quilt guild. To find your local guild, just pop on the web and Google Quilt Guild in your state.
