Just What Is An eBay Powerseller Anyway?
To become an eBay Powerseller you must consistently sell a significant volume of items, maintain a 98% positive feedback rating and provide a high level of service to buyers. When you see the Powerseller icon next to a sellers name you should feel assured that your transaction will go smoothly and that you are dealing with someone who has consistently met the requirements established by eBay.
Powersellers now have five tiers - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium. Each tier requires a seller to meet and maintain a preset level of average gross monthly sales for the past three months of selling activity:
Bronze $1,000
Silver $3,000
Gold $10,000
Platinum $25,000
Titanium $150,000
Membership in the eBay Powerseller program is FREE. New members joining the ranks of other Powersellers will now receive a special PowerSellers Starter Kit to help get you up and running with the program. Each month eBay sends out invitations to qualifying sellers who meet the above criteria, so check your email box for yours.
To qualify for the program you must also meet the standards below:
-Maintain a minimum of average monthly total listings of four (4) listings for the past three months;
-Be an active seller on the eBay site for a minimum duration of 90 days;
-Achieve and maintain a minimum feedback rating of 100, 98% of which must be positive;
-Be in good standing by complying with eBay listing policies;
-Your eBay account must be current with no outstanding balance;
-Deliver responses to successful bidders within three business days;
-Uphold the eBay Community Values, including honesty, timeliness and mutual respect.
And...once you are a Powerseller, what are the benefits you ask?

-Silver Tier offers telephone support during business hours. The Gold, Platinum and Titanium Tiers offer telephone support 24/7.
-Also, the Gold, Platinum and Titanium Tiers offer you your very own dedicated Account Manager.
-eBay also offers Healthcare Solutions provided by Marsh Advantage America to Powersellers.
-Access to the PowerSeller Discussion Board for sharing tips and 'best practices' with other PowerSellers, and the Banner Ad Tool, to create and target ads to drive eBay users to your 'About Me' and eBay Stores pages.
