Reptiles, amphibians, and Insects

Reptiles, amphibians, and housing, a popular term vivarium, it is essential to give a great deal of thought to what you are going to need. You will need something that is secure, a place for your reptile to be comfortable, you will want to be able to see your pet. You also need housing that will hold warmth and humidity. I gave up on the aquariums too many problems for the cost.

Instead, I have turned to the terrarium; making for an excellent vivarium environment.

At one time there were only two bird cages that I would ever buy and that was by HAGEN USA CORP and California Cages. I find the terrariums made by HAGEN are pretty darn good as well. XX-large 24" x 18" x 18" are the dimensions for the bigger terrarium. The door opens in front allow easy access to reptiles and amphibians.

One of the many fun features of the terrarium is being able to accessorize it creating a more natural habitat for your exotic pet. This vivarium will also work for amphibians, and many insects.

Zoo Med Terrarium

Zoo Med has a good and attractive terrarium as well. It has bottom and top ventilation.

R-ZILLA ACRYLIC ATRIUM - 18” x 12” x 20 another nice unit for high humidity pets. Mesh top secures your pet. Front opening door, easy to see in, built-in cable port for use with pumps, lights and other accessories allowing to route cords easily and safely.

Screened habitat cages are good for Old World Chameleons, juvenile Green Iguanas and other arboreal species of lizards, such as Geckos, Anoles, and many insects.
