January is a time when many families plan the next year's activities. How about checking out one of the twin festivals taking place throughout the US and Canada?
The most famous twin festival in the United States is held every summer in Twinsburg, Ohio. Twins of all ages meet in this small town to celebrate everything about being a twin. Many twins and parents of twins that I've spoken to who have traveled to this festival say they've had a great time. This festival has also been a place where researchers gather once a year to continue ongoing studies and begin new ones.
Some other unique opportunities include a cruise just for twins, offered by Carnival Cruises, a twins festival sponsored by a comedy club in Montreal, Canada, and a Coney Island day for twins in New York.
