Baby Name Articles via RSS
Want to know about the latest BellaOnline baby name articles as soon as they're posted? Subscribe to the Baby Names Site RSS feed! All you need is an RSS reader--it'll do all the work for you.
What's an RSS reader? It's free software (either web-based or desktop-based) that grabs syndicated content from all over the web and collects it in a single place for you. RSS readers automatically check for updates every few minutes, so you can learn about news articles, blog posts, and other items as soon as they're published.
You can read more about RSS at Wikipedia, and then either download a desktop RSS reader (such as the one at RSSReader) or set up an online reader (such as GoogleReader).
Once you have an RSS reader set up, just go to the Baby Names Site and locate orange "RSS" icon (toward the bottom of the page). There are several ways to subscribe, depending upon which Reader you use and which internet browser you prefer. I use GoogleReader and Firefox, for instance, so all I have to do is click on the RSS icon, then click a "subscribe" option. If you use a desktop RSS Reader and Internet Explorer, on the other hand, you may have to right-click the icon, choose "copy shortcut," then go to your RSS reader, click the "add" button, and paste (ctrl + V) the URL into that spot.
And if you want even more great BellaOnline content, you can also subscribe via RSS to a channel homepage (e.g. Health and Fitness; Books and Music) or the main site homepage. This will gather all the new content published within a channel or on the entire site and put it in one place for you.
(If you prefer the tried-and-true e-mail newsletter instead, there's always that option as well. Here's how to sign up to receive the weekly Baby Names Site e-mail newsletter.)
