Book Review How to Think Like a Millionaire
When I first received my copy of “How to Think Like a Millionaire” by Mark Fisher and Marc Allen, I have to admit, the first thing that popped into my head was “ho hum, another book on prosperity.” After all, I’ve probably read six or seven books this year already on manifesting the life of your dreams, never mind what I’ve read in the last ten years, and really, how much more information could there possibly be? How many more times could I read the same stuff?
However, I was so pleased with this book that I literally read it in two days, and I did so with great enjoyment.
A quote on the back cover says “Clear, simple, and wise, How to Think Like a Millionaire offers the tools you need to live the life of your dreams.” And I will say it does just that.
At 114 pages, this book gets right to the point! There are seven chapters (along with an introduction and conclusion) and each chapter ends with a summary and a recommended action. I enjoyed the authors’ writing style, which was easy going and flowing, and the exercises and tips are totally doable!
How to Think Like a Millionaire presents old information from a fresh perspective. It’s creative and exciting, and as I read it I could think of new ways to incorporate it into my life.
I felt so inspired, I pulled out my goals notebook and went through it again. I could see where I had lost my inspiration, and let some of my dreams just fall away.
We need to be reminded that our goals, hopes and dreams are important, and we should be paying attention to them everyday.
Our situations won’t change magically on their own. It takes planning and goal setting to create the life of our dreams. We have to change bad habits into good habits, and we change the good habits (which are formed the same way bad habits are) through repetition. We need to trust our intuition, become an expert in our field, pay attention to our inner dialogue, and much, much more.
How to Think Like a Millionaire covers all this and more. It’s inspiring, motivating, and left me with the feeling that I could really accomplish my goals. It was like spending a session with an energetic life coach, and walking away with tools for living.
If you are already familiar with keys to prosperity, this book will serve as a great reminder and motivator when you find yourself in a slump. If you are new to prosperity thinking, this book will not only get you started on the right foot, but will be a helpful guide as you work to achieve your personal goals and dreams.
This book won’t leave you scratching your head in wonder, but rather will put you on the path to successful living.
