I received a Nook eReader (electronic reader) as a gift from my daughter. I fell in love with it instantly.
Nook eReaders are sold by Barnes & Noble and rely on WI-Fi or Internet connection to download e-Books (electronic books) to read on the e-Reader. Once your books have been down loaded you can read the e-Books any where with our without a WI-Fi connection.

Several places offer WI-Fi hotspots and it gives the coffee drinker the perfect opportunity to take their eReader along with them to purchase and down load eBooks as they enjoy their favorite brew. If you own a Nook and are a Starbucks coffee lover then there are some advantages provided for you.
I visit a local Starbucks with my e-Reader weekly and the shop provides free WI-Fi.

While at Starbucks I can down load books I have purchased or purchase them while I am there. On Fridays Barnes & Noble offers a weekly special called Free Fridays. I can get a free featured eReader for my Nook from Barnes and Noble if I am downloading it from a Starbucks or Barnes & Nobles book shop.

Barnes & Noble book stores brew Starbucks at their stores so the two offer perks for each other. Barnes & Noble web site often carries coupons for free or discounted beverages at Starbucks for their customers as well.
I find this a nice bonus for being a Nook owner because I can enjoy free or discounted coffee at a Starbucks coffee shop. Naturally I plan my errand days on Friday so I can reap the rewards of taking a break and enjoying a cup of coffee and reading my Nook while downloading a free eBook.


I like to think it helps me expand my mind by reading and gaining knowledge of different coffee beverages available at Starbucks. I've used the Starbucks beverage coupons I have received from Barnes & Noble website to experience some different drinks I may have not normally tried otherwise and
I must admit that I have read and enjoyed a variety of books from authors that I normally would not have thought to read by taking advantage of the Free Fridays program available through Barnes & Noble company.

This Friday while your running errands then combine business and pleasure by taking your Nook eReader along and taking a needed break at a Starbucks near you. Don't forget to check the Barnes & Noble website for any available Starbucks coupons and you can also see what free Friday book is available to download while enjoying your favorite brew at Starbucks.
