Christian Author to Tour Atlanta
If you are looking for a book that is written with step by step instructions on how to help in directing your life then the book Help-Motivation for the Mind, Body and Soul by Gregory Arnold may not work for you. According to Arnold that was the whole point of his book. “I wrote the book not as a first you do this and then you do that and bam you are happy! That was not what I wanted to offer; instead I’m offering a step by step guide to basically fall in love with yourself and be happy with who you are,” he added. “We ultimately need to be in control of our own destiny and lives. This book helps people to do that,” says Arnold. Well you can be the judge of that if you purchase his book when he comes to Atlanta on his 25 city book tour this year.
Arnold plans to visit 25 of the most dangerous cities across America with Atlanta being one of his first stops. There he will host book signings at various venues. A dollar from each book purchased will be donated to a local charity in each city. His goal is to raise $100,000 for the charity of choice in each city. A lofty goal but one that he says can be done “because it is needed.” “I want to help the charities that deal with our youth, literacy and crime so that we can change the cities because change really starts with our youth.”
Arnold, a former Fed-Ex employee and a Christian dad of two, says he decided to write the book because he wanted to fulfill his desire to be in control of his own destiny and tell people how to do that. “I wanted to have something I could pass on to my children. I wanted something I could call my own and I wanted to tell people how they could do the same thing.”
The book opens up with the chapter “Love Thyself” this is the fundamental element for the entire book according to Arnold. “It is only when you love yourself that you can find your destiny and in the end find bliss” he says. Bliss is also the name of the final chapter of the book.
“Help” touches on several things and as I told him for me it was a little difficult to read because of the various topics the books dives into. “I wanted to touch on many things that we deal with in life and how sometimes things happen that are unfortunate but we still have to keep living, “said Arnold.
Arnold plans to start his tour next month and you can log onto his website at www.meccaofmotivation.com for more information.
