Fall Activities
Fall is a wonderful time of year. The leaves are changing, the weather is becoming colder and it is time to get your sweaters out of the closet. The air is crisp and it feels wonderful to be outside walking. There are so many wonderful things about the fall.
If you recovering from the pain of divorce, you may not be in any mood to appreciate the fall. While it may be hard, try to enjoy yourself. While shopping is great this time of year, it can just as fun to get a pumpkin latte. It is not about how much money you spend it is about enjoying yourself.
If you live near the ocean, it can be a great time of year to walk on the beach - as long as there are no hurricanes. If you have children, they are probably involved in fall sports or activities. Enjoy them.
You can also sit outside on a beautiful fall day and read the book that you never seem to have time to read. Even if you are cleaning or doing laundry, you can take a break and go outside and breathe. Even raking leaves can be a fun task that you and your children or friends can enjoy.
If you are a sports fan, there are college and professional football teams playing this time of year. Watch the game and cheer for your favorite team. Think about throwing a party and invite not only your good friends, but also people you want to know better. Ask friends to bring friends so that you can meet new people.
You can also throw a spa party with friends. Giving each other manicures and pedicures is great fun. Experiment with new products and see which one is your favorite.
Go to your closest museum and spend the day enjoying the art. Enjoy lunch with some friends.
Another good idea is to volunteer Helping those less fortunate than yourself will allow you to see all of the blessings you have in your life. Besides, you will feel better knowing your smile helped someone else feel better.
It does not matter what you do, as long as it is something positive and that you enjoy. Have fun. You deserve it.
