Orange Rosemary Chicken Strips Recipe

These seasoned chicken strips are great for a party or a lunch. They are easy to make ahead and reheat when you want a quick meal.

Orange Rosemary Chicken Strips Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1 Tbs dried rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl mix the olive oil, orange juice, and spices.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  3. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and mix well to coat.
  4. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 30 minutes. You can leave the chicken to marinate overnight.
  5. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  6. Place the strips on the baking sheet. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
  7. Cook the strips under the broiler for 10 minutes on each side.

Note: You can use pre-cut chicken strips to save time. Place chicken strips in a freezer bag and cover with the marinade. Freeze the chicken strips and marinade. Defrost the chicken and it will be perfectly marinated.
