It’s not safe to care and make a difference in the world. Caring is the thing that makes you walk out on the edge of something that burns strongly in your heart...and jump! Caring makes you blaze a trail, stop or start a movement or make a difference. But let me tell you, it’s not safe to care. It’s a scary thing to stand up when almost everyone else sits down, plays it safe and pretends not to notice the hurting, the lonely and those who need a little extra attention.

Do Good Anyway

No, it’s not safe to care, but it’s good to care. If we’re going to make a difference in the world, we have to make a decision to care, to be unsafe and do good anyway.

Wild Dance

There’s this crazy video circulating on YouTube. All of these kids are at a park. One kid gets up and starts doing this crazy, wild dance, I mean wild. For a few minutes he’s out there all alone. He looks weird, and he definitely looks unsafe, but you can tell that he DOES NOT CARE about how he looks. He cares about doing his dance, and he does it with extravagance.

When you have a cause, something important in your heart that makes you want to reach out and help, don’t let fear hold you back. Go and do good, do it in a wild way and with extravagance.

Your Wild Dance

I recently launched a crazy thing; my wild dance. The Biggest Vision Board Party in History. I want to see at least one vision board party happen in each state anytime during Mother’s Day week from May2-9.

See, I’m passionate about seeing women and girls live their dreams. I hate to hear stories of women who have been hurt or victims of any kind of abuse. I’ll turn off or walk out of a movie where anyone is being abused in any way. Life is too precious for that.

I’m inviting you to make a visual representation of the dreams in your heart. I’m inviting you to do your wild dance, make a wild statement about what you care about; will you join me? Will you dare to be unsafe and do good? As business owners, we have the power to not only grow a great company, but to start a caring movement.

The Dancing Kid Starts a Movement

So, the kid is out there dancing alone, soon another kid gets up, then another and another. Suddenly, all of these kids are running to be a part of what has become a crazy wild dance, wild and cool. We need to get a little unsafe and care, do good and dance…wildly dance. I’ve got a lot of states to cover to make my wild dance dream come true, do you want to dance?
