We have already reviewed the use of the Spanish prepositions "a" and "en", used with "donde". (See: Spanish tip. Donde, adonde or en donde?). Here you have some exercises:

1. Use a or en when approppriate:
a.El autobús está ______ la calle.
b.¿ ______ dónde vas?.
c.Camino _____ casa de mi abuela.
d.¿______ dónde has encontrado ese libro?
e.Lo he encontrado _____ en la estantería que hay _____ mi clase.


2. Translate:
a.There is a lot of people in the kitchen.
b.Where are you going?
c.I am going to the store.
d. What do you do at school?
e.It is very cold in December!


ANSWERS:
1.a en 2.a Hay mucha gente en la cocina.
1.b A 2.b ¿Dónde / A dónde / Adónde vas?
1.c a 2.c Voy a la tienda.
1.d En 2.d ¿Qué haces en la escuela / en el colegio?
1.e en - en 2.e Hace mucho frío en diciembre.
