Graduations mark a milestone for graduates. Flowers are often used for these celebrations. Most any kind or type of arrangement is suitable. They can be traditional ones in vases as well as wrapped flowers and bouquets. The type of flowers would depend on whether the graduate is a male or female. For men warm and hot colors are very appropriate.


Get Well Floral Arrangements

These require some thought if the loved one is in a hospital or nursing home. Bouquets aren’t particularly suitable for those recuperating in institutions. They need to be in a waterproof vase or other container. For these designs, choose long lasting flowers and greenery that don’t require any attention You won’t go wrong with long lasting alstroemerias. Flowers that wilt fairly quickly or have a short vase life aren’t as suitable.


Birthday and Anniversary Floral Arrangements

For large scale celebrations a specific color scheme may have been selected in advance. If that isn’t the case, try to choose colors and flowers that you know are the recipient’s favorites. For birthdays, accessorize with items that will be of interest to the loved one, such as golf memorabilia for avid golfers or long cinnamon sticks for a gourmet chef.
