The teddy bear design is quite charming. I took as my inspiration worn and torn teddy bears and added my own embroidery stitches. If you zoom in to 200-300% in the file you will see the detailing.
Please note: When I created these files I assumed that the user will be using colored paper/ card stock to print the design. That is why I have left the background color bare so that the design can be printed on whatever color paper you wish. My favorite color for handmade goods is beige to tan colored card stock. And even after saying this I realize that there are innumerable other paper choices that would produce just as splendid a result.
Suggestions for Printing:
There are many ways that these tags can be customized. They can be customized by using different color card stock. Any paper that is stiff enough can be used. Although I labeled the graphics as grubby graphics, yet these designs would look really nice printed on more sophisticated paper such as Natural colored vellum or handmade paper.
Once the design is printed it can be embellished with hints of gold or other color stamping or, it can be left as is.
I love to use a printed design and add stamping to add an extra layer of intricacy to the design. One of the most sophisticated designs I have ever seen was Kraft paper with a black sketch with gold stamping. When it comes to hand crafted goods there is no ceiling on the fabulous kinds of embellishments one can use, is there? That is what makes Indie crafting so valuable to our artistic/cultural ethos.
