After having lost touch for years co-workers Krista Dunk & Tammy Redmon reconnected at a Sunday morning church service and found that they had a few things in common: faith and business. Both women had gone on to become entrepreneurs and lived just minutes from each other. Koinonia Business Women started as a seed in the hearts of these two women who had a mutual desire to bring faith into the networking process. They noticed that at networking events the important topic of faith was always missing and yet they understood that faith is the strong foundation for many women in business.

Together they went on to found Koinonia Business Women, a world-wide networking organization for women of faith. This is a place where women come together for networking, training, support and encouragement. Launched in the fall of 2008, the mission of Koinonia Business Women is to become “the premier source for women in Godly encouragement, professional training & Inspiration.”

When visiting their site you will find an abundance of resources to help in growing your business. There’s the free e-zine, free radio show, blog and ebook. It’s evident that these women are out to do more than talk about supportive networking; they are doing what it takes to make it happen and to equipment women of faith with the tools to achieve success in their business and in life.

They have a very active on-line networking community that’s easy to join and the site includes event listings as well as the dates and times of the radio show. While Koinonia Business Women, reaches out to Christian women, they welcome all women with the understanding that God, prayer and spiritual topics are central to the work and support that goes on there.
