Business Helping Business
Business Helping Business (businesshelpingbusiness.com) is setting out to change the way that businesses work with each other. In fact, “work with” is exactly the point. Through their grassroots initiative to inspire co-operation vs. competition the founders of Business Helping Business are creating their own “wave” and leading the way to solution based networking and creative business collaboration, granting access to all who agree to very simple and respectful terms of participation.
They have officially declared Thursday, April 16th, as National Business Helping Business day. The main focus of the organization is to encourage business owners to reach out by letting others know what they have need of (asking for help) and receiving that help from other business owners.
Asking for help is only one part of the program. In addition to asking for help, business owners can list any product, service or item they have that can help someone else. For instance if you need help writing a press release you can ask for someone to help you. Or if you have extra rental space in your office that you’d like to offer a start-up company you can list that as a “have” instead of a need. The system has been working and giving business owners a phenomenal opportunity to continue to move forward in growing their companies.
I am dedicating the months of April & May to business owners by featuring one business each day for sixty days. This is exciting as you will be able to meet wonderful people, find resources and hear stories of how they are making it work and what they are learning along the way.
On April 16th, I will interview the Founders of Business Helping Business on Thrive Connect radio. You will hear the story of what inspired this beyond the box movement. In the meantime, check out what’s happening at BusinessHelpingBusiness.com. You can go there right this minute and list what you need or what you have. It’s simple and when the connection is made, it’s down right smile-inducing. I’ve had a couple of my own “needs” met as well as give, a few "haves." This is what we all need right now and something that every business owner can be a part of, Happy Business Helping Business day (early). Stay turned for Business Owners Spotlight…who knows maybe you’ll be our star for a day!
Thanks Business Helping Business for starting a movement and taking B2B networking to a whole new level…share the love level that is.
Hear interview with Business Helping Business founders Stephanie Stewart & Sean Davis.
