Love Her or Hate Her
Liza is back on All My Children, but this time she has a new face and a head of flaming red hair. Liza has also come back with a new agenda; one involving Amanda’s baby and a possible new romance with Jake. Also on the agenda? Liza is hoping to mend her broken relationship with her daughter, Colby.
We have already seen that this new Liza is feisty and shiesty! On Liza’s first day back in Pine Valley, she went to Zach’s casino. After flirting with him for about two entire minutes, she slept with him on the card table, demanding anonymity because she just wanted sex from a nameless stranger.
After her scandalous session with Zach Slater, Liza became involved in Jake’s crazy scheme to hide Amanda’s baby from its biological father, David. Now Liza walks around with a fake-baby belly and telling the citizens of Pine Valley that she is six months pregnant. I have a feeling that this plan is going to fall through somehow. These kinds of schemes always do, especially when David Hayword is the one being schemed upon! Amanda could decide that she wants to keep her baby after all. So many possibilities! I have heard through the soap-vine that Jake is getting married to the person who ends up with the baby.
With Chrishell Stause set to exit All My Children sometime this summer, will this be the end of Jake and Amanda and the beginning of Jake and Liza?
Since Stuart Chandler’s murder, Liza has pulled a couple of fast ones in order to protect herself, including framing Kendall for the murder! Kendall’s arrest prompted Erica to get involved who confronted Liza and gave her a stern warning. Does Liza have what it takes to take on Erica? For that, we will just have to wait and see.
As far as Liza’s ability to fix things with Colby, well, it seemed like Liza was making a breakthrough. After discovering letters written to her by Liza and hidden from her by Adam, Colby came thisclose to coming around; however, when she discovered just how her mother had obtained the letters (she robbed the Chandler mansion), Colby was done all over again.
It looks like Liza might be guilty of Stuart’s murder. Colby believes it. Kendall believes it. Even worse? Erica believes it. The problem is that Jesse doesn’t consider Liza a suspect at all. It is obvious that whoever killed Stuart was aiming for Adam and Liza has many reasons to want Adam dead. It should be interesting to see where Jamie Luner takes the character from here on out.
