I was contacted by Larry Gavrich of www.golfcommunityreviews.com asking me why I hadn’t written more about Golf Community living. I had written one article about that a few years ago and just never thought about writing more. He asked me if I would write a review of our Golf Course and community that may interest his readers in golf properties. I was pleased to write this article as have been involved with Mill Creek Golf Club for many years and have seen it grow and even when they were hit by some trying times. I have been coming to this community for many years as my husband and I owned one of the townhouses since 1984. We used this townhouse in the winter for a few months coming from the Iowa it was a respite from the snow and cold. Since my husband passed away I have moved here and purchased a patio home on the Heart of Texas golf hole.

The southern states such as Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia are listed on this Web site. This is a great service for any retired couples who are interested to moving south where golf is available all year round.

Living on a golf course has many advantages. If you are an avid golfer you have your entertainment in front of you every day. Since our Club lets you own your own golf cart there is no lifting of golf bags and your equipment is always handy. My home has its own golf cart garage and driving to and from the Club House makes for very easy living. I am not far from the driving range so can practice as much as possible.
