Instant Attraction Review
This time out, I have the new one from Jill Shalvis, Instant Attraction(Brava). Katie Kramer has left her boring life in L.A. behind to have some adventure after her brush with death. At the moment, she's doing bookkeeping in the mountains for Wilder Adventures. Sure the bushes rustle at night, and there might be big, wild animals in the woods, but she's enjoying herself. Until Cameron Wilder walks into her bedroom in the middle of the night. Cam has been traveling for the last year, trying to figure out what to do with himself now that his career has gone down the toilet after a major accident that's left him with a bum leg. Katie is a surprise, and not just because she's sleeping in his bed. She's honest, and sweet, and the attraction that flares between them is hot. Of course, she's only there temporarily while their regular bookkeeper is home with his wife and new baby, and Cam doesn't even know what his future holds. He just knows a permanent relationship isn't in his cards. That doesn't mean, however, that he can keep his hands to himself. This story is why I'm a fan of Jill Shalvis: it's just great romance. No mysteries, no paranormal anything, just convincing characters and a story that pulls you in and makes you want to root for them to find their happy ending. This is what she does best, and thank goodness for it! Even better, Cam is the first of three brothers in this new series, so we'll be treated to Stone and T. J. before too long. I'm borrowing four of Cupid's five arrows for this one. It's a definite keeper.
Look on Amazon.com for Instant Attraction (Wilder). Until next time, happy reading!
