That great Republican Ronald Reagan said: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

Reagan also quipped cleverly: “How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.”

This site is devoted to examining the issues that matter to conservative Americans, who agree politically with the Republican Party.

As Republican Party Editor, I will explore the historical background and development of the Party and report my findings and analyses in weekly articles. Important campaign information and analyses will also be a major focus.

A basic tenet of Republican philosophy is that the strength of a nation depends on the strength of each individual. This article gives the basic philosophical stance of the Republican Party as it exists today.

George W. Bush and Science
During the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, many claims were made about the inadequacy of the Bush administration. One complaint was that Bush ignored science.

Was the Iraq War Unnecessary?
When George W. Bush took office in 2001, the war with Iraq was already in progress, because Saddam Hussein was ignoring 17 U. N. Resolutions from the 1991 Gulf War. This lack of cooperation meant that the war in which the U.S. and coalition forces had engaged to liberate Kuwait was not concluded.
