First, Katie Peretti wrote a book called Oakdale Confidential. That book revealed secrets, and affected many people in Oakdale, including Katie herself. Now, the Martini Man has thrown his hat in the publishing arena. We all know Henry has a lot to say. He is a very bright and colorful character. This book is about more than the self-absorbed Henry. In this book, Henry actually has a job. Go figure!


The wealthy and dominating Lucinda Walsh has hired Henry to find her granddaughter Lucy Montgomery. Lucy fled Oakdale with her brother Johnny four years ago. Lucy wanted to protect Johnny from his evil father, Craig. Lucy knows firsthand what type of father Craig can be. Craig is a cross between Alan Spaulding and Roger Thorpe. When someone crosses him, they will suffer. When Craig wants something, he stops at nothing to get it, even if his own children are affected negatively by it.

Lucinda, fearing something has happened to her granddaughter, enlisted Henry and his lady, Vienna. In this book, Henry and Vienna travel to far places, searching high and low for Lucy and Johnny. Henry and Vienna run into difficulty, due to Johnny being a toddler. No one in Oakdale has seen Johnny since he was an infant.
