The Senior Life

Guest Author - Marilyn Crain

Senior Living at BellaOnline is all about the adventures of senior life. Here you can explore the limitless possibilities on the journey through the best time of your life. There are many roads to take, some of them straight and narrow, some rough detours and many interesting loop trails that offer gorgeous landscapes before they rejoin the main road. One thing is for certain. It’s going to be an amazing trip. We’ll try to find all the best stops along the way, while avoiding as many potholes as possible. And when you need shelter and a safe place to rest, we’ll be here waiting to welcome you.

What can you expect to find on the Senior Living Site?

--A Life You Love is all about the choices we get to make, where and how we want to live. There are lots of issues to explore here, including how our outlook on life is one of the biggest keys to living a happy, contented life.

--Animal Companions is where we discuss the pets we love.

--The Senior Library is where we get to talk about books--old friends and soon to be new favorites.

--In The Kitchen is the place to learn about food and recipes for one or two.

--House and Garden will contain tips on lightening the housekeeping load, decorating to make you smile and ways you can continue to garden with fewer aches and pains.

--Health and Wellbeing is all about staying healthy in mind and body.

--Lifelong Learning is an exciting place where you can find all kinds of interesting ways to continue your education at little or no cost.

--On the Road presents lots of ideas and destinations for seniors who want to travel the world in person or from a favorite arm chair.

--Hobbies and Recreation will help you explore your favorite activities or those you always wanted to learn about.

--Jobs and Volunteering is here to support you if you’re just not ready to kick back and relax. You can find out how to use your talents to earn some extra income or give time to help those who need you most.

--Retirement Ideas will point you in the right direction to explore top retirement communities, the best cities to live in, what housing options are available for seniors and so much more.

--Family Matters will help you with everything from what gifts to buy grandchildren to life changes that affect your entire family.

--Frugal Living is all about saving money and getting the most from your budget.

In addition to these topics, who knows what we will find to add as we go along. This phase of our lives offers so many opportunities that surely the biggest challenge of Senior Living is choosing what to explore next.

If you have something you want to talk about, please join our forum or send me an email. I would really like to know about your philosophy of life or what your secret to contentment is.

Welcome to the good life of Senior Living!
