Millionaire Dad, Nanny Needed!

Millionaire Dad, Nanny Needed!
Hello, and welcome back! We're in the midst of back-to-school prep here, and apparently, the beginning of another heat wave. I'll be really happy to see fall's arrival this year, that's for sure. And, to get me prepped for that, I get to start reading September books later this week! But I still have a number of August books to share with all of you here.

This time out, I have Romance Novels fave Susan Meier's latest, Millionaire Dad, Nanny Needed! (Silhouette). Audra Greene likes her job as accountant for 'The Wedding Belles', even with the difficulties she occasionally encounters. But then she meets up with a childhood crush again, and he turns her life upside-down in no time. Dominic Manelli has not only taken on his family business, but also his late brother's child, and he's having some trouble adjusting to being a father. Luckily for him, he bumps into Audra at just the right time for her to lend a helping hand. And Dominic decides she'd be perfect to help out until he finds a permanent nanny. After all, he knows and trusts her, her mother works for him already, and Audra is much too nice to say no. But, while she's juggling jobs and his young nephew, Audra realizes her childhood crush has the potential to become something much, much more if she allows it. But Dominic lives a different lifestyle, in a much higher income bracket, and they couldn't possibly make a personal relationship work. She just needs to keep a handle on her emotions for a month, until he finds a real nanny and she can get back to her regular life. Ha! As she always does, Ms. Meier gives us believable characters with very real conflicts in their way. Not only that, Audra is smart. Smart enough to know she's getting in over her head with Dominic, and smart enough to know when to cut her losses. Dominic, like many men, takes a little longer to figure things out on his own end, but eventually he does, and you'll be thrilled for them, too. This one gets four of Cupid's five arrows, and now we have to wait for her next book. Hopefully it's soon!

Until next time, happy reading!
