The Chihuahua, named for a Mexican state, is one of the oldest dog breeds in America. The AKC describes the Chihuahua as "A graceful, alert, swift-moving compact little dog with saucy expression, and with terrier-like qualities of temperament." This pint size dog comes in a variety of colors and in two coat types - smooth coat and long coat.
