Victoria Newman & Victor Newman
Victoria awoke to see that her baby is alive and healthy. I will never forget the scene where Nikki is tending to Reed and suddenly hears Victoria’s voice. At first, she seemed to be unsure and thought she was dreaming, but when she turned around, she saw a groggy Victoria asking for her baby. Nikki was overwhelmed with joy. J.T. looked as if he could barely speak. After that, the news traveled fast. Nicholas and Phyllis joined the rest of the family in celebration of Victoria’s recovery.
When Victor went to see his daughter, he was overjoyed and moved. I do wonder one thing, though. When the dust settles and the family gets back into a normal routine, how will Victoria react to Victor being indirectly responsible for her fall? I noticed that, upon Victoria’s awakening, she asked how it happened. Nikki and J.T. comforted her by saying, “That’s not important right now.” I totally agree with that statement, but you know how things work in Genoa City. If her family doesn’t tell her, someone else will.
Because Heather’s case against Victor Newman is weak, all charges were dropped. Victor has done some questionable things over the course of his career, but I never suspected Victor had anything to do with Ji Min’s death. When Victor told his family he was cleared, they were happy but shocked. First of all, the timing was off. He chose to share the news immediately after Victoria awoke from her coma. Secondly, Victor’s own family had doubts about his innocence.
Next week on Y&R regarding the Newman Family:
It is rumored that Victoria will not be the same. After regaining consciousness, she was dazed and a little confused. This may seem normal, but I have heard buzz about the character changing in some way. This could mean bad news for J.T., since they just got married and he has high hopes that they’ll finally be a cohesive family.
Victor will learn that Phyllis, Nick, Sharon, and Jack will go into business together. I never thought I would see the day. This will make for an interesting foursome. Never mind the fact that Phyllis is Jack’s ex and Sharon is Nick’s ex; Victor will have a hard time accepting his son working for the enemy.
