The Secret - A Review

Guest Author - Sharon Michaels

This best selling little book has been in circulation for a couple of years and is still among the top selling books in the world. Why? The Secret by Rhonda Byrne gives us permission to go for our dreams. Even if you’ve read this book before, it’s time to dust it off and read it again.

April/May Book Club Selection
I’ve read the book, listened to the CD and watched the DVD so many times I can probably recite each of them word-for-word. That doesn’t stop me for rereading, listening and watching every few months. Can you ever get too much hope and motivation?

It always seems like the perfect book, song or person comes into your life just when they are needed most. Could that be the Law of Attraction in action?

That’s what happened when I discovered The Secret. My mom was very seriously ill, I was feeling less than satisfied with my career and I believe I was bordering on depression. I kept hearing about The Secret by Rhonda Byrne from my friends and colleagues. It was only available online as a DVD at the time. From what I’d heard about it, it almost seemed too good to be true. I finally broke down and purchased the DVD.

I was familiar with many of the experts on the DVD and am personally a HUGE believer in the Law of Attraction. But quite frankly, I wasn’t ready for the impact of this simple yet extremely powerful message. The Secret doesn’t actually say anything new - it’s based on the 1910 writings of Wallace D. Waddles’ The Science of Getting Rich.

What sets The Secret apart from other “motivational” materials is how powerfully well written it is. It is understandable! You can read it (or listen to it) and “get” it. Each expert gives you a true pearl of wisdom.

The “secrets” are revealed in these areas:

~ The Secret of Money

~The Secret of Relationships

~The Secret of Health

~ The Secret to the World

~ The Secret to You

~ The Secret to Life

It’s more than reading a book or listening to a CD. It’s about fostering and living a lifestyle of positive thought, action and belief. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne has been responsible for changing thousands of lives for the positive. Has yours been one of them?

The Secret came into my life at a time when I was looking for hope and permission to dream. It has had a profound impact on my world.
