Website Review - Autosport.com
If you want to know all the motorsport news, the minute it happens, then Autosport is the website that you need to visit. They don’t just cover Formula 1, but many other sports as well, including NASCAR, British Touring Cars, and Rally Championships as well. However, concentrating on the F1 stuff, they do it really well. They often have the news before anyone else, there are always exclusives to be read over there, and they literally cover everything.

The regular news is free to everyone, and Autosport have archives dating back for many years. There is a subscription option, for a few Euros a month, and you can get more articles and pieces from columnists giving their opinions. Some of these appear in the sister magazine from the same company, but some of them are internet (and subscription) only.

The site also has many galleries with photos from testing, races and off-track events, featuring all the drivers and available to browse through for free. You also get the option of purchasing the pictures in print if they really appeal to you.

There are forums available if you feel like talking about the stories you have read, and there are many, many visitors who are just waiting to reply. There are plenty of topics already there if you feel like joining in a conversation, and it’s quick and easy to sign up to have your voice heard.

One of the main downsides of the site is that they can make many news articles about the same topic. For instance, if they have an interview with a driver, they feature that as an article, then another is the main points in news form, and they may have a couple of others reiterating what was said but in a different way. Sometimes this can be useful, if you don’t have time to read the entire interview, but reading the same thing over and over again can be annoying.

Having said that, there really is no better place to keep up with the news. They provide RSS feeds for all the coverage, or just the items you want to follow. On the homepage, you can filter the latest headlines by team which is very useful. And the search is very powerful, giving plenty of criteria and as I mentioned earlier, there are years to search through.

All in all, this is definitely worth bookmarking as a favourite. It’s updated every day, so a great way to stay in the know.
